Nickelodeon Partners with Allionce Group to Celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants’ 25th Anniversary

BOSTON, MA July 17, 2024: Select U.S. aquariums will celebrate SpongeBob’s 25th Anniversary in partnership with Nickelodeon starting July 15 and running through September 15. Aquarium visitors will be treated to an immersive SpongeBob experience with habitat signage, a branded scavenger hunt, episode screenings, photo opportunities and more.
In honor of 25 years of nautical nonsense, Nickelodeon and Paramount+ will be rolling out a wide-ranging slate of 25th anniversary programs that invites audiences around the globe to LIVE, EAT, GAME, PLAY and WATCH LIKE A SPONGE. This includes all-new original content across the Paramount ecosystem; one-of-a-kind location-based experiences; exclusive consumer products and games, first-to-market partnerships and so much more.

“Saturday Morning Cartoons” will feature SpongeBob SquarePants’ episodes at aquarium on-site theaters with movie & marine theater pre roll commercials promoting SpongeBob to an attentive audience. Guests can also take home a special coloring sheet featuring the fan-favorite sea sponge that lives in a pineapple under the sea! Branded photo opportunities are embedded into the experience offering families a fun way to snap pictures and create lifelong memories of their experience.
